It has been an incredibly long time since I blogged about my current tattoo obsessions! I have been seriously craving some new ink but I haven't had any time to make any concrete plans. It's been almost two years since my last piece, the longest I have gone without since I started getting artwork done in '06. I miss it so much and I've had a mild case of ink fever so I thought I would revive Tattoo Tuesday!
Here are some tattoos that I've been in love with lately!

1.// Honey Bee. I love this one for obvious reasons, bee's are sort of my thang.

2.// Coat Hanger Love. I love this simple little tattoo, I'm always a sucker for cute little designs.

3.// Disney Princesses. I don't think I really have to explain why I'm obsessed with this.

4.// Hooked on Crafts. A super combo of all of my favorite craft goodies, I LOVE THIS IDEA. I would do things a little differently but all in all the idea is there.

5.// Sweet Fingers. I found this picture a long time ago and I cannot stop falling in love with these knuckle tattoos!

6.// Sew Cute. Elsie has some very amazing tattoos, but this is one of my favorites!

Do you guys like tattoos or have any of your own? What are some of your favorite tattoo ideas?

  1. I got my first tattoo this May - a rose on my wrist which was completely spur-of-the-moment and very I characteristic of me and since, I have been obsessed! I'd love to get a cherry blossom "sort-of" sleeve one day but am still trying to figure out whether I will still love it in 20 years time (that's something which is important to me with tattoos). In the meantime, I am working on a design of a Maltese cross to get on my ankle (tradition if you're getting a tattoo in my family to honour our Maltese heritage) and I would love the Dumbledore quote "it does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live" somewhere one day. I'm a massive Harry potter need and think I need a Harry potter tattoo! What do you have so far?

    1. I love Harry Potter too!
I have seven tattoos! I have a cupcake, a dream catcher with peacock feathers, a sugar skull with roses, my daughter's name and filigree on my foot, my grandfather's biker name and a tigerlilly, the lyrics to Jambi by TOOL on my back, and some french script on my ribs! :)

  2. What a lovely set of fave tattoos! Ironically, I am getting half of those done! I have about 30 tattoos right now and love people {especially men} with tattoos. It's just such a gorgeous way of expressing yourself and an amazing way for a tattoo artist to express their art as well. I plan on my 30 to eventually become one big piece from my shoulders to my toes :) Even if I'm 80 and need to fill in space!

  4. I have thirteen. ♥ My favorite tattoo of my own is a replica of Monet's House of Parliament in the Fog at Sunset on my right arm.

It took forever, hurt like Hades, but is so close to the original that even my art professors were impressed!

    1. That is amazing! I love when people get more classic art tattooed on them. A good friend of mine has an incredible Dali piece and I'm so envious!

  7. I love the clothes hanger tattoo. I actually have a friend who has this but has it on her neck as if it's "hanging her outfit".

  8. I love the style of the Disney Princesses. I definitely want something like that for my next tattoo. Or flowers. I'm having a hard time deciding, but it's okay because I can't afford a new tattoo for a while. :(

    1. I feel you, they can be expensive! But I always say, my tattoos are something that I'm going to have my whole life so it's an investment I'm okay making!

  9. I love the little hanger tattoo. I've got two of my own but Kat (the other half of WetDesert) got a new one this past weekend. It's based off of a drawing that her brother did in the '80's. You can check it out on our blog! http://wetdesertbranding.blogspot.com/
