Life Happens.

I've been a terrible blogger. I know it's true. I've been thinking a lot less about posting, picture taking, and keeping up with social media in general. The truth is, sometimes life happens. Sometimes things unfold smoothly and over time but in our case it has been rapidly unraveling beneath our feet and we are doing our best to keep moving and survive. In only a few weeks now we will have the keys to our first home, our dream home, in our hands. Our house and all the adventures that go along with it will finally be tangible. We've been hanging on to this thought as we pack up our lives here. When we step foot into our house and it is finally ours a huge sigh of relief will wash over us and I know we will be overwhelmed with joy. As for now we are buried in boxes and and piles of our stuff, buried in the lists of to-do's that grows by the minute. Our apartment is shrinking on us, we swear it's so. Everything feels smaller, everything about our apartment frustrates and angers us. Maybe it's because we know the end is near and we know what we are headed toward, but moving can not come soon enough.
I miss keeping up with all of you, responding to all of your lovely comments, staying connected to the blogging community and giving you content that is worth while and enjoyable. I know I've been a drag guys, but the end is near. Like I've said before, this new house will give me an overwhelming amount of opportunities to make my blogging better and take my businesses more seriously. I hope that you all stay around to see all the exciting adventures that lay ahead.

  2. Hello. Semi new reader, here :) Totally relate, we spent 6 years in a two bedroom apartment. It was all my 3 kids knew and we definitely didn't plan on expanding our brood there! The last year was soooo difficult and then we were finally at a place where we could buy our first home, it just became unbearable. Blogging was my best friend while we lived with my parents for 3 months before we closed on our home but once we got in I really tapered off and then stopped cold because I was just involved with livin it up with the fam in our long awaited slice of home! Just got back in the groove and lovin it :) Can I just say, I am very excited for you, hang in there because home buying is SO stressful sometimes but that'll all fade away once you're in and don't worry about readership because people who like you won't forget you that easy ;) Yay for your house! Your kids will have a yard! As a former apartment dwelller I know how AMAZING that is!
