Breaking the silence.

You've probably noticed that I've been pretty silent here on the blog this week. Its been refreshing to spend time with my family, especially after having Marli gone for almost a week. We are gearing up for the start of our homeschooling year which begins tomorrow and I've been trying to take as much personal time as I can before I become overwhelmed with balancing school, work, and home life. I've been getting my curriculum in order, organizing reading lists, and making sure I have plenty of activities to occupy a five year old and a two year old simultaneously.
I've also been working on the shop aspect of my work, creating a completely new line of designs and products that will be available in the near future. I've sort of scrapped all of my previous work and am trying to make things a bit more cohesive and meaningful. I have a few holiday items that will become available around October so you can get a head start on all of your festivities and I will be releasing a little freebie along with those seasonal items for you all to enjoy! I've also been working on a few custom pieces and I've decided that I will not be taking anymore custom requests until further notice so that I can focus on my products and the other aspects of my life that sometimes fall by the wayside.
Posting may become a little more sparse here until I can get my ducks in a row, but I'm going to do my best to keep up and be present. So until next time enjoy The Collective Link Party and make sure that you hop around and meet all of the lovely bloggers who are participating! It's always great to find new blogs to read!
